In This I Believe, twenty-seven poets address personal beliefs that reflect their actual life experiences. These range from mental illness, poverty, rape and death to physical recovery, birth, spirituality, and nature. This collection features a variety of styles, including translations from Hindi and song lyrics, and also many illustrations and photographs by the widely-published nature artist Keith Stelling.
Hamilton born artist and photographer Keith Stelling holds an M.A. in English from McMaster University. Trained in England, he became the first Canadian member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists of Great Britain and is also a member of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy in England. He now teaches drawing and Medicinal Plant Garden Design at the Southhampton Art School.
